Designing this logo exemplifies the sharp, strong, and simple design I like to do as well as what I want the Braden Forbes brand to represent. The design is simple but very effective in color as well as structure. The original inspiration is a black widow spider’s hourglass characteristic on their abdomen. To me, the spider represents perseverance and patience, which are key aspects when it comes to making a great design for any client.

The colors black and red are strong and contrasting colors that help the logo stand out and give it that strong and structured feel as well as providing a sense of sleek precision that this brand represents and exemplifies through any design. The Good Times type helps showcase a more modern and futuristic aesthetic to my brand, show showcasing my style of design. The supporting type, Century Gothic, helps compliment the main type, continuing that modern aesthetic and style that is used for the subheaders and body copy.
